1) Benefit’s Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer
First and for most, this product has few shade collection (1 being the lightest and 4 being the darkest) i opt to choose 1 since it matched my skin tone. I simply pat and blend it onto my face generally. I don’t just focus on black circles under my eye since i wanted a lightweight product that i could easily bring with me and use anywhere I go. It’s a light weight concealer that blends smoothly especially on my fine lines and lines around my eye. Another thing I noticed is that it covers the uneveness of my skin. I could describe it as a matte finish that didn’t need any powder to set it with. It doesnt feel heavy yet it still has a great coverage and it stayed on my face for like 8 to 10hrs. (I work 8 hr shift plus another shift on my second job and it’s still there!)
1) I also use this as an eye shadow primer. It works really well because of its creamy texture and it doesn’t cake up.
2) I always use lighter shade for shaping eyebrows yet i find this product doing a great job in doing it. Just use a tiny brush and apply it under the edges of your eyebrow to amplify your brow shape.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this to a friend because of its unscented lightweight coverage texture. I liked the packaging as well.
2) Benefit’s Ka-brow Cream Gel
When I was still young, i had my luxurious time of going into salon and have my eyebrows done every 2 weeks. As I shifted from being a “responsible citizen” that had to work and juggle my busy schedule, i guess going to salon every now and then is just impossible. I tried many eyebrow products that would be easy to apply, shapes my eyebrow on fleek and affordable ofcourse. I’ve been sticking to eyebrow pencils like Anastasia and Maybelline. They really do the job. I remember one time switching to a gel brow liner (Revlon and NYX) but it gave me a horror. It took me longer times in applying and perfecting the shape of my brows. Sometimes it easily gets dry inside its packaging and cracks. (Winter ruins some of my beauty products). From then on, I decided not to use gel brow liner again. Not until I came across Benefit’s Ka-brow Gel Brow Liner.
It has 6 shades. I have dark brown hair color so i opt to choose one shade darker. It works fine for now. (not unless i color or bleach my hair again). I recommend this product for people who are tired of going into salon and getting their eyebrows done regularly. I only shave mine. They’re naturally thick. (I’m not a pro, I only learn from YT videos!) This product is great for beginners.
It comes in a small jar and a flat angle brush attached to its cover. The gel has a dry to powdery texture. It lasts all day (summer).
Tip: *I learned from a friend to start shaping your brows from the edges and continue to brush it off going inwards to fill the spaces.
Overall, I plan to stick with this product until i find another product that suits my needs. I like the angled brush that comes with it. It makes the application so much easier, thus, I recommend this product especially for beginners like me. Plus it lasts all day. It’s a little bit pricey for its amount but I guess I just get a decent product on what I pay for. 😉
3) Benefit’s Hydrating Concealer
I’ve always had a problem with dark circles under my eyes. As I said before, I usually use my Benefit’s Airbrush all around my face including the are under my eyes. It’s very effective in covering those dark circles but I got curious with this “hydrating” concealer coming from the same brand. I always had dry skin so i decided to give it a try. Some of the brands I used before was just “sitting on top of dark skin”. The result is grayish color. With benefit’s hydrating concealer, it looked like I had the best night’s sleep. I also noticed that it moisturizes really well. It’s perfect most especially during winter. Also, it blends easily with my airbrush concealer. It didn’t need any powder to set it off.
It’s like a lip balm on your eye. (eyebalm 🙂)
Overall, I recommend this product because of its concealing effect which does not crease or becomes cakey. It makes my eyes bright enough plus it stays throughout the day.
