Getting lost in corn maze is one of my most memorable experience this summer. It’s a fun way to bond with your friends, family and kids!
This week’s destination was corn maze one in Lethbridge. It is professionaly ran by a family. They’re open during summer and fall. They usually start the opening on July and will be closing on October. You can visit their website here for more info.
We didn’t bother about the scorching hot weather because we enjoyed ourselves solving the maze. I went with my family and friends.
We took the rocky Robinpick Berry farm on our way there from Calgray so get prepared for some bumpy ride if you’re planning to go. It didn’t last long though. A huge barn-like structure will welcome you upon the entrance. They have a huge parking space at the front.
They were doing some renovations when we got there but yoy can almost figure out what their interior design was all about. (Nope, it’s not all about corn). It looked like we were inside a well taken care off farm. I can’t say it’s cozy because it was summer time when we went there and they had some construction going on.
One thing that made me think was it was all kids working at the said maze. From the boys who were doing some renovation to the girl at the cashier front. They’re really nice and friendly.
Here’s the list of Admission.
We walked thru their walls which are decorated with their maps. i found out that they change the course of the maze every year! (which is great btw). Here are some of their maps from the past.
Here’s the map for this year.
It’s not only the corn maze that made the farm a nice place but it was also the petting zoo they have in which some of the farm animals are habitating.
They also have a playground for kids, giant slide and cow train (as per request). They also do a hayride in which they tour you to the whole farm. Unfortunately, we didn’t had the chance to try it since we were there for the corn maze only and didn’t alotted enough time for extra fun activities.Another reason to get closer to nature!
The Corn Maze(s)
We thought there would only be one maze but we found out that they have different kinds of maze to offer. Blonde maze is of course for the blondes only. jk. 😜 It’s because the corns are almost ready for harvesting, they turn into gold yellowish color.Hence, blonde.
They have Big maze and Scavenger maze which are the tough ones btw. Good thing that they included some trivia questions that’ll help you to get through the maze.
Ofcourse, they have the Kid’s Maze which is easy. All they have to do is turn right in every intersection.
We lasted for 2 hours walking in the maze. We chose the Trivia/Scavenger Maze. There were lots of turns. The trail is big enough to fit a family of 5 walking side by side. The corn trees were a lot taller than the photos. IMHO, I think they’re 6 ft more or less. It was nicely done and been taken care off. You cannot find any garbage in the area.
Unfortunately, we didn’t finish the maze because it was too tricky for us hahahaha. Plus we tried to answer some of the trivia questions yet there was no hope for us. I guess we answered it all wrong. lol. And don’t even try to google it because there would be no any signal in your phone once you get in their location. (plus, don’t spoil the fun!)
Of course we didn’t left the location without having a chance for our photo ops!
All in all, it was a great experience with my family and friends. We did not finished the maze but we learned to do team work. i guess that’s what all matters.. or maybe not. It sucks that we didn’t get any of the prizes :/ Yes, you’ll get one once you finished the maze. So what’re you waiting for? Come try your luck in this super fun maze! 🙂
Did you have any first time fun experience this summer? I would love to hear them! Tell me your thoughts!
